The Foundation for Industrial History of Győr founded in 2005 by the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, set itself the goal of collecting and presenting the industrial history of Győr and its surrounding area.

Although the foundation's main goal is to create an industrial history exhibition that serves both scientific and educational purposes  , it still considers it important to provide  tourists visiting the region with an experience when visiting  an industrial history memorial site .

With the help of our website, you can discover Győr from a new perspective - and vice versa: when you walk  around the city , you will find QR codes  on certain industrial historical buildings or even objects, around old factory buildings  , which you can scan with your smartphone and get information about what you see during your walk.
